Join us for an evening of warmth, connection, and community! Whether you're just beginning your adoption journey or years down the road, this is a space made for you.
🕡 Every event runs 6:30 – 8:30 PM
Enjoy coffee, tea, and snacks 🍪 while connecting with other moms who truly get it. No agenda, no pressure. Just real conversation with women walking a similar path.
💛 You don't have to be an Addy's Hope family to join us! Any adoptive mom, at any stage of the journey, is warmly welcome. Come as you are and meet your people.

Post Adopt Family Back-to-School Bash
Post Adopt Family Back-to-School Bash at Denton Water Works

Join us for a Post Adopt family event! This event is open to all families and takes place Sunday, August 23, 2026 from 3pm-6pm.
Families who register will have their entry fee paid, along with pizza and drinks provided for dinner. We'll gather at the pavilion. Registration is required so we can get an accurate headcount and prepay for park entry.
Parents must attend with their children, as this is a family event and no child supervision is provided.

Join Addy's Hope for an Adoptive Parent Information Meeting designed to help adoptive families of twice-exceptional (2e) students receiving 504 or Special Education services.
You'll learn:
The ARD and 504 process and what to expect throughout the school year
The accommodations and services that may be available based on your child's eligibility
How to become a knowledgeable, confident, and empowered advocate for your child's educational success
Your child's rights and what supports you can expect
Practical information, answers to your questions, and tips to help you start the school year prepared and informed
Whether you're new to Special Education or 504 services, or simply want to better understand your child's rights and supports, this meeting will provide practical information, answer your questions, and help you begin the school year prepared and informed.
Presented by Dr. Michelle Wooten
Dr. Michelle Wooten is an educational leader with more than 29 years of experience serving students, families, and educators. She spent 12 years as an elementary principal and 5 years as an Assistant Superintendent of Teaching and Learning, where she worked closely with parents to ensure every child received the support and services needed to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Throughout her career, Dr. Wooten has partnered with families to navigate the special education and 504 processes, build collaborative relationships between home and school, and empower parents to become confident advocates for their children.

Coffee Moms at the Giraffe Inn & Safari: Lemurs, Giraffes, and Sloths, Oh My!
Join us on Sunday, August 30 for a unique Coffee Moms experience: Safari Self-Care!
This VIP guided tour features up-close animal encounters with giraffes, lemurs, pygmy hippos, baby otters, a sloth, and more. The tour wraps up with charcuterie and connection, giving moms a chance to relax and recharge together.
When: Sunday, August 30, 4:15pm to 7pm (please arrive by 4:20 to take part in the guided animal tour)

Tools and education to build stronger families. Honest conversations, practical tools, and personalized support, designed for adoptive parents who want connection, confidence, and new ways to respond.
We have a limited number of spots available for individual family coaching. This includes four virtual group meetings (90 minutes each) covering:
Lying — the one we all seem to struggle with!
Trust — how do we build it, and rebuild it?
Accepting Correction — responding without shame, blame, withdrawal, or escalation
Families Choose — the final topic will be selected together from our conversations
Meeting dates will be set once participating families are identified.
Every family receives two private, one-hour in-home coaching sessions with Parenting Coach and TBRI Practitioner HollyAnn Petree, focused on your family's specific struggles and building tools that fit your home.
Meet your coach: HollyAnn Petree is an adoption professional with more than 22 years of experience. As Executive Director and Co-founder of Addy's Hope Social Services, she equips adoptive families for permanency with a special heart for older-child and teen adoption. Her trauma-informed parenting journey began in her own home, where she is the mother of nine children, six of whom are adopted.
Cost: $350 program fee. Limited scholarships are available to cover the program fee. Email hollyann@addyshope.com for scholarship information.

Escape the hustle and bustle of daily life for a weekend of connection, community, and rest. Respite Ranchhas designed this retreat with an "easy schedule" in mind—giving you the freedom to bond with your family and meet others walking a similar path.
🏠 Your Home Away From Home
Relax in your own private space! Each family will be assigned their own cabin or motel room(s) based on family size, ensuring you have a quiet place to recharge whenever you need it.
🛶 Fun & Fellowship
Whether you want to get active or just lounge in nature, there’s something for everyone:
Outdoor Fun: Fishing (poles provided, or bring your own!), basketball, volleyball, and giant tic-tac-toe.
Indoor Activities: Full gym access and plenty of family board games.
Spiritual Refreshment: Saturday morning worship and guided family devotionals on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

When: April 24th, Friday (Check-in at 5:00 PM) – April 26th, Sunday (Check-out by 10:00 AM).
Meals: 5 delicious meals included (Friday dinner through Sunday breakfast).
Cost: Free! (We require a $100 refundable deposit to hold your spot. This is returned to you at check-in. If you are unable to attend, your deposit becomes a tax-deductible donation to help fund future retreats.)

Every registration to this event helps Addy's Hope fulfill their mission of being the hands and feet of Jesus by establishing programs that lead, equip, and advocate for youth, parents, children and families. We provide hope and support to break generational curses as we work alongside those we serve with Kingdom purpose.
