Whether you're new to Special Education or 504 services, or simply want to better understand your child's rights and supports, this meeting will provide practical information, answer your questions, and help you begin the school year prepared and informed.
Presented by Dr. Michelle Wooten
Dr. Michelle Wooten is an educational leader with more than 29 years of experience serving students, families, and educators. She spent 12 years as an elementary principal and 5 years as an Assistant Superintendent of Teaching and Learning, where she worked closely with parents to ensure every child received the support and services needed to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Throughout her career, Dr. Wooten has partnered with families to navigate the special education and 504 processes, build collaborative relationships between home and school, and empower parents to become confident advocates for their children.
