Holly Ann Petree
Co-Founder/Executive Director
HollyAnn and her husband John founded Addy’s Hope in 2005 after a personal tragedy during an adoption. John and HollyAnn have 9 children: Paizley, CallieAnn, Noah, Toben, Ava, Madison, Journey, Ella and Deacon. HollyAnn has been involved in the adoption community in various roles since 2001 when she and John adopted their oldest son. HollyAnn’s first official title in the adoption world was “Mom” which greatly impacts the way she views her role at Addy’s Hope. HollyAnn served as an adoption advocate for America World Adoption Agency in 2003 and 2004. HollyAnn also worked with a local home study service provider writing home studies and providing support for families through all stages of the adoption process and continuing long after finalization. HollyAnn has served as Executive Director of Addy’s Hope since it’s beginning when the agency placed children from Guatemala. She oversaw the Liberia program and worked to open a progressive orphanage during the time Addy’s Hope served the children and people of Liberia. It was John and HollyAnn’s passion for the children who wait longer for adoptive homes in the Texas child welfare system that lead Addy’s Hope into what is now the They Wait program.
HollyAnn has a passion to see all three parts of the adoption triad served well during the adoption process. Having experienced a failed adoption due to the lack of integrity of an adoption agency, HollyAnn set a foundation with Addy's Hope of operating with the highest integrity in open and honest communication with all clients as well as insuring standards and law are met above reproach when placing children. She operates with a compassion and understanding that can only come through the experience of having adopted 6 children herself. HollyAnn has experienced private infant adoption, international adoption, foster-to-adopt, CPS matched adoption of a teenager, and kinship adoption. HollyAnn values her role as mother to each of her 9 children spanning a 19 year age gap. Her experience parenting these children drive her passion for and service to the children and families served by Addy's Hope. She understands on a personal level the blessing and sacrifice adoption is for all three parts of the adoption triad!
In August 2020, during the middle of the COVID crisis, God gave HollyAnn a vision of opening a supported independent living program for young men who aged out of foster care. That is when Future Hope was born! You can learn more about this program at www.FutureHopeTexas.org
HollyAnn has a goal of emptying the Texas foster care system of children waiting to be adopted! She is often heard sharing that she may not be able to accomplish this goal in her lifetime, but she will die trying! HollyAnn treasures the families God sends to Addy’s Hope to empty the system of waiting children, and she cherishes the children God allows us to serve through adoption!
However, of all the roles HollyAnn has valued in her life, she is enjoying that of Lovey to her amazing grandchildren most of all!

Jamie Poe
West Texas Program Director
Jamie joined the Addy's Hope team in 2016. Jamie has spent the majority of her career in social work at CPS in various positions. When she left CPS, she was the Program Director over investigations. Jamie worked with hundreds of families during her years with CPS and enjoyed being able to help families in crisis find solutions. Before coming to Addy’s Hope, Jamie worked with the March of Dimes where she served as the local Community Director. Jamie has experience in working with families, fundraising, and event planning.
Jamie's favorite aspect of her job at Addy's Hope is being able to serve others from a Kingdom perspective and being able to make a difference in the lives of children and families. After leaving CPS, Jamie did not know that she would ever return to direct social work. However, the organization's leadership and God's prompting drew her back to the work she loves. Having worked for many organizations, Jamie appreciates the integrity with which Addy's Hope operates. She knows her personal integrity will never be compromised working for Addy's Hope because the organization as a whole is built on transparency and integrity.
Jamie is married to her soulmate and is the mother of 2 wonderful children. Due to some medical issues, she was told she would never have children. However, she believes God had a much bigger plan and was able to have both of her children without medical intervention. She loves children and believes that every child deserves a forever home with a family that will love and support them. Jamie has a heart and a passion for working with families and helping them navigate through the process of adoption.
